Snr OHL Design Engineer

Our client, a well respected employer in the East Midlands area, is seeking a Snr OHL Design Engineer.  Your brief is to deliver satisfactory design of overhead line projects by providing design calculations / drawings and commentary that enable safe and secure solutions. General duties will entail:
* Analysis of contract documentation
* The design of safe systems
* Provision of designs, volumes and quantities  as required
* Provide necessary calculations / reports to justify test loads and results
* Liaison with clients, consultants, vendors to ensure satisfactory progress and quality
* Ensure procedures and manuals provided are in line with quality standards
Candidates should be educated to degree level with formal training inCivil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering.  You should also be chartered or incoporated membership of ICE, IStructE, IMechE or IET or working towards membership.  Additionally you should have experience of HV or EHV Overhead Line Design and Construction.  If you feel you have the right skills and experience to meet our client's needs, please apply now.  However, if you do not hear back from us within 14 days, kindly assume you have been unsuccessful.
