Permanent Vacancies Customer Service Manager

Salary: to £32k

Our client is a very well established and well respected company based in Burton on Trent.  They are presently recruiting for a Customer Service Manager to lead a small team of customer service personnel.  You will have full responsibility for the department and be eager to promote exceptional customer service.

You will be happy to interact with customers on a daily basis, processing orders, providing information and progress on customer orders as well as ensuring that your team stay updated on product knowledge.

General duties will entail:

  • Troubleshooting and constantly improving customer service quality
  • Providing training on how to handle sensitive client issues
  • Coordinating with sales and marketing in a common aim to increase sales
  • Reporting regularly to senior management
  • Conducting regular meetings with departmental team
  • Management of staff issues
  • Recommending products
  • Maintenance of back order log and status
  • Upselling
  • Preparing shipping and tracing information
  • Responding to customer questions and reviews
  • Ad hoc duties as may be deemed necessary

In order to carry out this role, candidates should have Customer Service management experience, having already successfully led a team.  You should also have experience of working in a fast paced, pressurised office and be adept at problem solving.
