Permanent Vacancies Internal Communication & Events Coordinator

Salary: upto £32k

Do you have a passion for creating engaging communications and organising internal and external events? If the answer is YES then we have a fantastic opportunity to join our client working in their fast-paced Marketing team.  The role of Internal Communications & Events Coordinator is to support the delivery of strategic and engaging content through internal channels. Duties will include:

  • Be responsible for developing and leading on engaging internal communications, in collaboration with key stakeholders and influencers, which inform, inspire and drive action in line with company culture, values and strategy.
  • Collaborate across the wider communications team to ensure campaigns are aligned with the external communications and strategy
  • Lead in the coordination of internal conference content, from concept to completion in collaboration with various stakeholders including our UK Leadership Team and assist in the planning, coordination and execution of internal engagement events
  • Manage the planning, organisation and delivery of major exhibitions and regional study events, supporting with coordinating event content creation and advertisement
  • Measure and evaluate activity and campaigns on a monthly basis.
  • Control budget expenditure for areas of responsibility.
  • Source, liaise, negotiate and work effectively with key external stakeholders, such as videographers, media production, event managers, event logistics.

 

It is expected that the successful candidate will have the following attributes:

         

  • Knowledge and experience of creating and leading on internal communications and events
  • Experience in content management and development across internal and external systems and platforms
  • Excellent communication skills: active listener, confident presenter and ability to adapt approach and communicate effectively
  • Ability to take full accountability for developing and implementing an effective internal communications plan
  • Influencing and persuasive skills
  • Highly organised
  • Innovative
  • Event experience desirable
