Our client is a highly successful food producer in the Lichfield area. Their products are widely available in supermarkets, restaurants, wholesalers, etc and they are presently looking to recruit an NPD Technologist to join their busy team.
This is an exciting and varied post and will incorporate carrying out the following duties:
- Organisation of trials, samples, shelf life,etc
- Inclusion in project management for product development
- Organisation of food safaris
- Working with core own label team and leading the development for own label products for ongoing category reviews
- Researching new ideas and trends
- New product development brand management
- Monitoring of products after launching
- Project progression reporting
- Presentation input
It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have some relevant experience including experience with shelf life analysis, product sampling etc. You should also have excellent communication skills and be able to present ideas effectively.
