Permanent Vacancies Purchase Ledger Assistant

Salary: to £25k + benefits

Our client is an established business, who provide professional services to the health service, housing associations and government associations.  They are presently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to carry out a number of varied duties as follows:

  • Creating supplier accounts using the company's specialist system
  • Chasing orders,statement reconciliation, raising nominal codes, batching of invoices, etc
  • Ensuring trial balance is up to date
  • Carrying out admin duties including word processing, filing, completion of reports etc
  • Addressing any telephone enquiries
  • Labour analysis
  • Associated administration duties
  • Updating and maintenance of the asset register

In order to carry out this role, it is expected that candidates will have experience of working in a similar capacity and be confident working with IT including spreadsheets.
