Harvey Beric Associates has proudly served the local business community since its establishment in 1998 by founder Wendy Beric. From the beginning, the company built its reputation on delivering a personal, professional, and truly tailored recruitment service — values that continue to shape the business today.

At the time of its launch, Helen Spalding joined the company in an administrative role. Over the years, Helen’s responsibilities grew alongside the business, ultimately progressing to head up the accounts function. Her dedication, knowledge, and long-standing commitment have made her an integral part of the Harvey Beric journey. 

In 2011, the team welcomed Penny Mitchell, who joined as a Recruiter. With a passion for matching exceptional candidates with the right opportunities, Penny quickly became a key driving force within the organisation and, as she often says, “never looked back.”

Today marks an exciting new chapter for Harvey Beric Associates. Penny and Helen have successfully completed a management buyout and taken over the business, with a shared vision to continue delivering the high-quality, dependable service for which Harvey Beric is well known. Their combined experience — spanning recruitment, operations, and business administration — ensures the company remains in capable and enthusiastic hands. 

As the new management team step confidently into the future, they are committed not only to maintaining strong relationships with existing clients but also to welcoming new clients who value a friendly, flexible, and service-driven approach to recruitment.

In line with their vision for growth and connection within the business community, Harvey Beric Associates has also joined the Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce. This partnership reflects their ambition to move the business forward, embrace new opportunities, and face the inevitable challenges and changes that come with an evolving recruitment landscape.
