Salary: £40k - £42.5k incl shift allowance
Our client is a well established, fast paced manufacturer based in Measham. Due to ongoing success, they are presently recruiting an experienced multi-disciplined technician, working a continental shift pattern.
The Maintenance Team covers all aspects of plant, supporting manufacturing in a fast moving, time critical environment.
General duties will entail:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance routines on plant and equipment;
- Improve the reliability and robustness of plant and equipment;
- Install and modify plant, equipment and associated systems;
- Diagnose and correct faults on electrical, electronic, plc, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems;
- Identify components required to carry out work, and liaise with external suppliers to obtain parts;
- Liaise with other departments to agree access to equipment, and work required;
- Document work carried out, and contribute to the department’s and plant’s Key Performance Indicators.
Ideally, candidates should have a background in electrical/electronic engineering and/or mechanical engineering along with experience of working in a fast paced industrial maintenance environment. You should also be able to respond quickly to any breakdown situation and have sound knowledge and experience of improvement techniques.
Finally, all candidates should have a minimum of City and Guilds Part III or ONC certificate in a relevant discipline.
