We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Electrician to join their team at a large mining operation near Burton-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a unique environment, supporting both surface and underground operations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Install, maintain & repair electrical systems up to 11kV
- Work on mobile plant, conveyors, crushers, pumps & ventilation systems
- Carry out inspections, testing & preventative maintenance
- Diagnose faults & keep equipment running smoothly
- Support new installations, upgrades & commissioning
What we’re looking for:
- Recognised electrical trade qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Strong experience with heavy industrial equipment or mobile plant
- HV switching/isolation skills (desirable)
- Background in mining or similar industrial environments preferred
- Safety-first mindset & problem-solving ability
