We’re looking for an organised and proactive HR Assistant to support the HR Manager across a broad range of HR activities, with a strong focus on coordinating training across the business.
This is a varied role where you’ll work closely with line managers to ensure smooth delivery of employee training, while also supporting key HR processes and providing day-to-day guidance to employees and managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule training programmes across the business, ensuring cost-effective delivery
- Support employee engagement initiatives and HR projects
- Provide first-line guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment matters
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation
- Act as a key contact for Occupational Health coordination
- Support absence management tracking and reporting
- Assist with recruitment activities, including interviews and onboarding documentation
- Prepare regular HR reports (e.g. headcount, absence, training)
- Liaise with payroll, external providers, and internal teams to ensure smooth HR operations
About You:
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident working with data and producing reports
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in an HR or administrative role is desirable
What You’ll Be Doing Most:
A significant part of this role (around 50%) will focus on coordinating a wide range of mandatory training, working with both internal teams and external providers to ensure employees are fully compliant and up to date.
