Team Lead – Accounting & FP&A – 12 Month Contract
Are you an Accountant with a track record in team leadership and audit management? We are looking for a Team Lead – Accounting & FP&A to drive month-end, reporting and financial planning activity in a dynamic and growing business.
This is a high-impact role where you will lead a small but capable team partnering with all departments across the organisation. You will take full ownership of month-end, audits, forecasting and FP&A projects, supporting decision-making at senior levels through clear, actionable financial insight.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full month-end close and submit financials to group on time.
- Manage external audits for multiple legal entities.
- Coordinate tax packs and ensure accurate, timely legal and regulatory submissions.
- Manage, mentor and support the team
- Oversee FP&A projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow analysis.
- Own and improve key finance processes: rebates, fixed assets, and internal controls.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure compliance with ISO9001 controls.
What You Bring
- Fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent), or QBE with strong experience.
- Experience leading a finance team.
- Proven experience managing audit cycles and stakeholder relationships.
- Strong communicator with sharp attention to detail.
- Excellent IT Skills including Excel
